The SIA has a copy of Beata's estate inventory (bouppteckning) drawn up in 1884 shortly after her death. Beata's great grandmother was rumored to be Princess Sofia Albertina of Sweden, daughter of King Adolf Frederik. A fuller investigation of this rumor can be found here. Beata's mother was her father Salomon's second wife. She had an elder sister, Stina Lisa Salomonsdotter, born November 28th, 1812 at Frotorp - the house (croft) where she and Lars Abraham Skagerlind later lived.
